Corrective Osteotomy on the Lower Limb

DEERcad was primarily developed to allow the use of specific tools to elegantly perform a Paley angular analysis and subsequently simulate a corrective osteotomy. Its main advantage is the ability to monitor in real time the change in geometric proportions during opening or closing of the wedge osteotomy. This gives you a precise idea of the impact of the intended procedure on all relevant parameters (limb axis, joint line orientation…).

Radiographic quadrant method for ACL insertion

The orthopaedic literature is replete with recommendations on how to quantitatively assess the results of imaging examinations. One example is the postoperative check of the femoral insertion of the ACL on lateral projection radiographs using the quadrant method. Without specialized tools, it is unrealistic to incorporate these procedures into daily practice. With DEERcad you can draw all the quadrants in 3 clicks!
